Koinonia John the Baptist Ireland

  • Koinonia John the Baptist Ireland is a Spirit-led community of friends within the Catholic Church, on fire for Jesus, with the desire to reach out to all people in Ireland by bearing witness to God’s transforming love in their lives!

  • Our charism is to be “at the service of the New Evangelisation”. A convenant community of Koinonia has served in Down and Connor (and beyond) since 2001.

    Our community is international, and consists of consecrated brothers and sisters (who live in a shared community campus called an Oasis) and our covenant community of lay people who share and commit to community and sharing the Good News wherever the Lord has placed them.

    Our most foundational place of community is the House of Prayer, with our members inviting friends and family to a time of worship, sharing God’s Word, testimony, intercession and friendship once a week.

    Our consecrated community in Ireland was established in 2017, and is based on the slopes of Slemish in County Antrim (in the Glens of Antrim), led by Sr Christine Sawey. We have consecrated brothers and sisters from Ireland, Italy, the Philippines, Mexico and the United States.

    Our community is active in evangelisation (and forming evangelisers), youth ministry, reconciliation ministry, healing ministry, music and worship, biblical formation, retreats and school outreach. Two of our consecrated also lecture in evangelisation and practical theology.

Community of Nazareth

  • A charismatic community based in South County Dublin and the surrounding area.

  • The mission of the Community of Nazareth may be best summed up as a Christian community whose members are open to the action of the Holy Spirit through the charismatic gifts and who are committed to loving and serving Jesus Christ, one another and those around them. The life of community members has four main aspects: life with God; life with one another; life of witness/evangelisation, and life of service in society. While not living in common, the community aims to establish a way of life where individuals are not isolated, where marriage and family life are strengthened, where young men and women grow in brotherhood and sisterhood, and are helped in living the single life or in preparing for marriage, where children can grow up among people who are striving to live Christ’s commandment of love.

ARMY of PRAISE

  • Initiative to ‘Lift Jesus Higher’ in Praise — Praise is the weapon that will heal and transform the land — Praise will establish God’s Presence Power and Light in the midst of his people

  • This is the text of an “Invitation to Praise” which was given by the Lord to Marie Beirne to be shared with the wider Charismatic family in Ireland.  This word came to Marie after she had listened to a "Prophetic Conversations" sharing between Bro David Jardine (Interdenominational Divine Healing Ministries) and Fr Pat Collins (New Springtime). We will join together as one “Army of Praise” on Saturday 12th December 2020 from 11.00am to 12.00noon and each subsequent Saturday.

    “Lift Jesus Higher!!

    Invitation to join a united army of praise in Ireland.

    Today "the truth about Jesus is under attack”. Christ has been taken down from His throne and reduced to the status of a ‘wise man’

    His absolute uniqueness, divinity, majesty power and glory are ignored. The presence and power of God have been obscured by negativity, unbelief, apostasy and the darkness and chaos of a broken world.

    "God is disappearing from the human horizon. The Light has grown dim and humanity is losing its way”(Pope Benedict XV1)

     God has given us the answer.

    Praise is the weapon that will heal and transform the land Praise will establish God’s presence, power and light in the midst of His people! 

    Praise will enthrone the Lord and release the Victory of Calvary in this land. 

    A spiritual earthquake will be released!!

    God speaks now through this prophetic Word.

    "You are my army and I am calling on you to fight not with worldly weapons, but with the weapon of PRAISE. Praise is the shortcut to holiness. The Work and the Weapon are one" (Prophetic word given at Festival of Praise in Belfast)

    So let's do it God's way. Stop fighting the darkness in our own strength and give the power back to God. “The battle is mine says the Lord."

    “At the sound of our praises the Lord rushes in to intervene, rule, save, restore and set free and to give us the revelation that leads to victory” (Maria Vadia). As we anoint the head Jesus with the perfumed oil of our praises, the healing restorative oil flows down over the body.

    Invitation to you who are reading this.

     1. Will you join with us and commit to one hour of praise each week, if possible from 11.00am - 12.00noon each Saturday. If this does not suit please choose an alternative hour. Praise in song, in tongues in shouts and proclamations of victory as the Spirit leads. But let's take the weapon in our own hands and unite together in praise. 

     2. Opportunity. I felt God was saying that just as for Paul at Ephesus (1Cor 16:9) there is "a wide and effective door” open for us at this time.  

     3. Do you feel you could really commit to this hour and persevere?There is a spiritual ceiling over this land which can be broken by our loving, united, persevering praise. 

     4. Promise of God. (Is.29:14) "I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people."

    The Lord is calling us, we who have been so blessed with the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and have come to know the power of praise. Though physically separated, we will spiritually unite - not as spectators but as active participants - in this explosion of praise. 

     Let's do it!!

    ·       Create the atmosphere for miracles!!

    ·       "Call into existence the things that are not "(Rom 4:17)

    ·       Counteract, bind and incapacitate the enemy!

    ·       Act out in praise our absolute belief in God's PRESENT power acting on our behalf!!

    ·       Human limitations are blown away in Praise.

    ·       Break down the barriers between individuals, nations and denominations.

    ·       Increase the spiritual strength of our nation!

    ·       Let's stay in praise until we are clothed in power from on high. (Ruth Heflin)!!!
